Wow, what a hike! I started from the top of Lovland Pass, then climbed to the top of Mt. Sniktau in about an hour, but the hike back down and then up to the top of Grizzley peak took a lot of heart. Nala did great as always, and we had a blast. The views were spectacular from these peaks, looking down on most of Colorado from over 13,000 feet.
Rochelle and Ruben Morgan are very much in love, and that really did show through during their May wedding. It was a pleasure to work with them. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of it.
What else can I say, you guys are just the best friends anyone could ask for. OH... and by the way pretty much the best parents I have ever met, except for my own of course. Love you guys.
What a cool event to photograph, and I mean that literaly, it was like 55 degrees out, these poor kids were shivering like crazy but that didn't stop them. It really was great to be there, the kids really gave their all and swam really hard. I love some of their expressions. I want to say thank you to my good friend Danielle (DK Simoneau) for inviting me to be their photographer that day. What a great hike, Nala and I hit the trail around 8:30 hit the top of James Peak at 11:30 and then got lost for an hour and a half coming back to the car. It was totally worth it though. Nala had so much fun playing in all the snow on St. Mary's Glacier, and of course swimming in the lake (she's nuts). The wild flowers were gorgeous, and yes those are blocks of ice floating in James Lake.
It was my pleasure to photograph Kelley, Andy, and Tanner again. I spent a great weekend with them in Mexico shooting their wedding which was nothing short of spectacular. Now, 2 years later being able to take these timeless images of them is truly my honor. Tanner's expressions are absolutely priceless. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives.
